Hi Dan, your pricing is definitely going to be on the high end of our pricing tables. Trimming tudor-style jobs can take a long time, especially if you’re cutting in near the body color (painting 3 sides of the trim instead of just the front). The color change is going to increase time even more because you might have to go over the trim a couple times by hand just to cover. I would bid high on this job. House Painting Broomfield Colorado
how do i calculate time for this job. is it as simple as your comment above 3x more for difficult jobs like peeling and wood damage, where does cutting in come into play. the area i have is a long narrow section around a top of a building. with the channel siding i have to cut in the top and i cant just do it quick each piece needs to get done individually.
Hi there I’ve been running my business for over a year and I have come to realize that due to the area I live seems that. When I bid people think it’s way to much because we live in a very small town. I know other painters in my area and they run into the same issue on average my business is only making 350.00 a day if I try to bid it higher it turns people away. How can I help my business earn more? Broomfield House Painting

Exterior paint jobs depend on the house’s square footage, though the number of stories and other variables will affect the price. The cost is typically between $1 to $1.80 per square foot. A a 1,500 square foot house would cost the customer $1,500 to $2,500 and a 3,000 square foot house would cost the customer $3,500 to $4,500, according to Painting Leads. Hi Kim, we’re glad you like the site. You’ve asked a really good question. We recommend keeping a consistent pricing structure no matter what the area. Some painting contractors will try to raise their price if the area is very affluent, but if you have a consistent estimating system, the pricing should take care of itself. More affluent areas usually have larger houses, so your pricing is already going to be higher when considering the job size. You shouldn’t price based on what the area is, but rather, what do you need to charge to make your target profit margin. House Painting Broomfield Colorado
